The 2015 Chardonnay McCrea Vineyard features enticing notes of ripe grapefruit, white peaches and lime leaves with nuances of baking bread, fresh ginger and coriander seed. Medium to full-bodied, richly fruited and delivering a decadent oiliness to the texture, it fills the palate with citrus and stone fruit layers, finishing long and spicy.

Kistler's 2015 Chardonnay McCrea Vineyard is soft, open-knit and gracious, all of which will make it easy to drink and appreciate upon release. Orchard fruit, dried flowers, chamomile and almond notes grace a subtle, understated Chardonnay that speaks in hushed tones. Today, the McCrea is a bit subdued relative to how it showed from tank.
