Visit Trenton Roadhouse

We invite you to join us at our Trenton Roadhouse, located at the southern end of the Russian River Valley near where the river itself heads west to the sea. Our forty-six-year story at Kistler is grounded in our vineyards, and it is here where we share our wines with our guests at one of our most beautiful properties, which includes a restored farmhouse, barn and thoughtful outdoor spaces.

Due to our limited production and to ensure a personalized experience for visitors to the property, we limit the number of daily tastings.

All visits are by appointment Tuesday-Saturday and for guests 21 and older only.

Experiences

Your private tasting begins with a welcome at our Trenton Roadhouse Vineyard, where you’ll be greeted by your host and introduced to the rich history of our vineyard and winemaking practices. You’ll then be seated in one of our thoughtfully curated spaces—inside the Trenton Roadhouse, our renovated and reimagined barn, or in one of our elevated outdoor spaces (weather permitting)—to enjoy one of the tasting experiences described below. All tasting experiences include a shared plate of chef-made small bites and in-house charcuterie. Please select the same tasting experience for your entire group.

Five-Wine Tasting

Your host will guide you through a tasting of four single-vineyard Chardonnays and one Pinot Noir from our library, sharing insights into our winemaking techniques, vineyard sites, and the unique characteristics of each wine.

Duration: 60 – 75 minutes
Price: $175 per guest (for parties of 1–12)

Seven-Wine Tasting

Dive deeper into our portfolio with a guided tasting of five single-vineyard Chardonnays and two Pinot Noirs from our library. Your host will provide a comprehensive overview of our history, winemaking philosophy, and the distinct qualities of our wines.

Price: $195 per guest (for parties of 1–12)

Seven Single-Vineyard Chardonnay Tasting

Explore the depth and complexity of our single-vineyard Chardonnays through a tasting of seven selections from our library. Your host will share the stories behind the vineyards and the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into each bottle.

Private Reception Tasting for Large Groups

Whether you have a larger group interested in learning more about our wines or are looking to add an unforgettable winery experience to your special celebration, we offer a private reception-style tasting experience for groups of 12-40 guests. You’ll enjoy a selection of wines from our library in a private space in the vineyard reserved for your group. Taste through a five-wine flight of our single-vineyard wines served alongside a tasting menu of local offerings from some of our favorite artisanal chefs. Our hospitality team is on hand to assist with any questions or requests you might have.
